School? What does that mean? :D

Hi!
Wow the last week was just amazing!
Wednesday we were supposed to have a Kay-Conference at our school. So no school for everybody but the people in Kays. Well but KSHSAA (Kansas State High School Activities Association) cancelled it in the whole state because of the still terrible weather ! But in our area it wasn't too bad and we went to a bishop ordination! Our diocese got a new one and it was the first ordination in my life! The mass lasted 3 hours but it was beautiful! It was in a cathedral close to us and it was a great liturgy! The whole thing was in the same town Ron's mum lives and so we visited! I met her the first time but it was really good and fun=) On Thursday we had school, however just for 3 hours! Because after that we, the scholars bowl team, left to the Regionals! It was a very long way but we made it! We knew that it was gonna be hard to get under the best 3 out of 16 to qualify to State. And we didn't make it! But we made it in the Finals and got 6th. Well we were the winner of the hearts and the only teams without only nerds :D It was fun and lost some really close! But it's so sad that it's over now.... It was really a lot of fun with the whole team although we had practice in the morning every Tuesday and Thursday! During the whole Regionals we received the message that school was cancelled on Friday! Why? Because the main pipe in the watertower froze and burst. It wasn't a big problem as long as it was still frozen but it got warmer and it started melting and there was a lot of water on the whole school terrain. Of course we normally would have had Homecoming at this evening and a home game but it got postponed. Homecoming is now on February 18th. All games except the varsity ones got cancelled! Our varsity played in a small college near to us but we unfortunately lost again bad! The boys did! The girls won easily, though! When I went to bed on Friday night it was pretty late but I had to get up at 5:30 am in the morning! We had our first Forensics meeting! It started at 8 and took the whole day! I was back at 5 pm! But it was fun. I did a Duet together with Tat(ianna) and we were really nervous because we didn't know how it's gonna be and everything and we hadn't practiced together the whole week! The first round went surpringly well and we skipped just a couple lines! But it doesn't matter because the judge doesn't know what it's supposed to be! You just gotta keep going and your partner should help you=) In the second round we skipped a whole page but nobody noticed it because we just kept going :D However in the third round we forgot the lines and it wasn't really smooth! We stopped and yeah we were sure we wouldn't be in the finals because of that! But we did! We broke the finals! So we could perform it a 4th time and this time it was really good! And imagine we got 4th!!!! We got 4th out of 22 teams! It was amazing and neither she nor I have ever done it before :D That 4th place qualified us for the State Festival. If we wanna go to the State Championship we gotta be 1st or 2nd but that's still our goal! And I think it's possible! We're gonna keep improving and having fun and then it's gonna be really good and funny! But now your attention please! You gotta be really caeful when you're meeting me again! Because I wore dress clothes from Wednesday till Saturday :D Wednesday the bishop ordination, Thursday the Scholars bowl Regionals, Friday the Basketball game and Saturday the Forensics meet! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH :D No just kidding! I really get used to it and now I just gotta learn how to tie a tie=)
Tonight we'll have a big Superbowl party at our house! The two best professional football teams are playing the final tonight at 6:30 pm central in Dallas, TX. The teams are the "Green Bay Packers" and the "Pittsburgh Steelers"! It's gonna be fun and I'm excited!
